Steve Melink
Mr. Melink started Melink Corporation as a national, certified, and independent HVAC testing and balancing firm. With a national network of trained company technicians, it is the largest T&B firm in the U.S. Customers include many of the largest and most successful chains in the U.S.. This experience led him to inventing, patenting, and developing the first variable-speed controls for commercial ventilation systems. Melink Corporation’s Intelli-Hood controls are widely considered an industry standard with over 10,000 installations world-wide in restaurants, supermarkets, hotels, schools, hospitals, and other foodservice venues. These two successful businesses along with its solar PV business show the innovation and commercialization knowledge and skills of Mr. Melink and his team. As a leader in Net-Zero energy, Melink’s corporate headquarters was one of the first LEED Platinum certified and Net-Zero Energy headquarter buildings in the country. Mr. Melink has incentivized his employees to be environmental champions, and half the organizations’ 100 employees drive hybrid and electric cars as an extension of its vision and mission, and culture and values.
Steve Hamstra
Mr. Hamstra found his passion as a teenager when he began installing geothermal heat pump systems in his father’s HVAC business. Following receiving his engineering degree, he spent the next 37 years designing high performance buildings as a principal in several architecture and engineering firms. Mr. Hamstra received the 2014 ASHRAE Global Technology Award for his design and on-going performance of a new science building for the University of Findlay utilizing an advanced geothermal HVAC system that included a magnetic bearing heat pump, radiant heating and cooling, active chilled beams, and thermally massive energy storage.
Roshan Revankar
Roshan Revankar is an experienced geothermal engineer with a mission to make ground source energy affordable. He has expertise in geothermal design and modeling and is also involved in writing standards and codes for various organizations. Roshan has previously served as the Executive Director at IGSHPA where he developed training and membership programs and also established the organization internationally. He has served the role of an industry advocate and has been invited as a speaker nationally and internationally. Roshan holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is a certified building simulation analyst by Association of Energy Engineers and certified geothermal inspector by IGSHPA.

Micah Zender is a Product Development Specialist with 20+ years of experience designing new products. His experience in leading organizations through the growth and development of new products, brands, and strategic partnerships often under the label of Innovation has led to billions of dollars in top-line revenue growth.
